Valerie Prescott Holden’s professional journey is rooted in her Southern California upbringing. She is an alumna of the University of California, Los Angeles, and in 1994, she achieved a significant milestone by passing the California State Bar examination. Her legal career commenced at Prescott & Prescott, Inc., where she partnered with her mother, Tonya.
In 1998, Valerie attained her certification as a Family Law Specialist from the California State Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by less than one percent of all attorneys in California. Since that time, her unwavering focus has been exclusively on family law. In 2023, she made the decision to rebrand the firm as Prescott Holden Family Law.
With an impressive track record spanning over 29 years, Valerie is highly regarded within her professional circles. Her reputation as an ardent advocate for her clients, coupled with her poised and professional courtroom demeanor, has earned her the respect of local judges and fellow attorneys alike. Valerie’s practice has thrived primarily through word-of-mouth referrals from former clients, opposing parties, court personnel, judicial officers, and peers.
